The little poet

There was a boy who loved to
write poems all the time
but they never rhymed

Oh How hard he tried
he never got it right

he was very rude
and said, I hate myself dude.

Chime

Once upon a time
a girl called Diney Dime
went to a park
full of chimes

which dangled in the air
Diney shouted -it is not fair

I care for the chimes
but the park owner does not give me one

so I'm done
I'm not coming here anymore

then uncle shouted
don't go I will give you one
and so she smiled
she was happy
as it dangled all the time the little girl started to whine

Grey sky

It was a sunny day
I was out on my way
to the sky which was grey

It was the month of May
as I walking and talking
which I usually do
while eating pumpkin stew

I noticed a staircase
which seemed like a mystery case
was in my way
which led to the sky which was grey

and then I looked carefully
I saw a park to play

It was no more a sunny day
as night fell..
I tell you the tale of today
as I wail to my fail

the sky was no more grey
but it was a lovely day

The egg laying news

Did you know!
Mrs Cock o cock laid an egg
which was small as a peg!...

A hen who is a wrestler
laid an ... egg
which is as small as a peg

Mrs. Hanna who was also in shock
went to comfort Mr. Cock
he was sad and he complained
God you are very bad

Finally Mrs. Hanna
suggested Mr. Waba
who was very big baba

So Mrs Cock o Cock
and Mr Cock went to Waba
the great baba

who chanted the mantra
aam badaam
turn it into  a farm

The next day a door bell rang
Vow shouted Mr Cock
My picture is in the Newspaper Dock

My magic pencil

My magic pencil is the best
it is not a type of magic where
if you drop a picture it will come alive

or if you write a wish it comes true
but my memories and love are in it
my magic pencil is the best

Witches Well

Don't go in the witches well
she will make you a bell

don't eat her bread
or it will squash you till you are dead

if you talk about the smell of a well
she will make you eat hundred onions until your face is red!

so don't go there
otherwise you will shout, it is not fair!

Talking Dolls

Potato potato ……. Onion onion …….. ianthi lello

The market was hustling and bustling but most of all people were crowded around Renuka’s shop . It was said that Renuka could cast a magic spell on dolls . Some said it was a myth but most said she could actually cast a spell .Well to describe her she was not a very beautiful , she had long grey hair and red teeka on her forehead she always wore a green sari and a few lines on it . It was a bright sunny morning  Sony ran to Renuka’s shop there was a huge line in front of her shop . After sometime Sony asked Renuka,  "Ammi can you give me some dolls" .

Renuka answered, "sure my child, how many coins have you got ?" , Sony opened her hand, there was three dirty coins .
Renuka smiled and said my child you would  not  get anything for three coins , but I should let you have a doll. Sony smiled, "thank you" . Renuka took a doll from a shelf and chanted some mantra , then she handed it over to Sony . Sony was pleased . She thanked Renuka and ran home  . Renuka smiled and told herself that she had done a good deed. As soon as Sony reached home she placed it on her shelf , then she ran to eat her dinner . She told her mother the story of how she got a doll and then went to sleep .

At night, the doll started to whisper something to herself then she moved forward an got down the shelf. She then ran to Sony’s bed and then she got under the covers .
The next day the news spread! well you know what it was, and I  am very lazy to tell you that

A Balloon saves my life

One sunny morning I was walking along the road in a small pathway known as gully in Hindi . Vehicles here and there , dogs , people and shops . On the corner of the gully sat an old man with a long white beard and wearing just a piece of an Orange cloth selling balloons . I walked over to the old man he asked me Maaji can you please buy a balloon from me . I looked at his hand which just had two coins .I took out five coins from my pocket  and handed it over to the man , the coins brought a smile on his face . But still he said Maaji please take back these four coins a balloon is just for one . His generosity made me astonished , I said please accept all these coins . The man was happy and handed me a balloon . I was  happy too!
I decided to cross the road to the other side . I held the balloon  beside my leg and started to cross the road but as I did so a scooter came and dashed my leg , luckily the balloon burst and I just got a bruise . The man on the scooter fell down and everybody was staring at us . The Old man kind enough to pick us up and placed us on the side of the road .
